ZEENAT WATTS
Zeenat is from Philadelphia, PA, and moved to the DMV area in 2010 to work with her brother, Salih, who asked for her help in working with loc’d hair. She is now a Senior Loctician with nearly 8 years of experience.

Zeenat has been trained and certified by Rasa Salon of Philadelphia for Starting Locs on Straight Hair. She is also involved with product development for her own line of hair and skin care products: loc gel, hair oils, moisturizers and treatment products used for hair issues. She does her own research to determine which ingredients will be best used in these products and she shares her results with a scientist who serves as one of her mentors.

Currently, these products are also being sold to customers online as well as multiple shop locations soon they will be offered at trade shows as well. Zeenat’s goal is to be able to market these products to the world as she continues to take courses to become an Herbalist, Healer, and Master cosmetologist.
